The Welsh Corgi is a breed with a build that is well proportioned and well muscled. It has an appearance of quality. It coat is probably one of its most distinguishing characteristics. On its back the coat is close to its body and smooth. The fur on its deep and narrow chest, front and back legs, and underbelly is long and feathered. The ears are long and wider at the base.
