| Description |
| The Tibetan Spaniel has a long and well-built body. Its neck is shorter than average and angles slightly to its back, which is very straight. The ribs are sprung well. This breed has a head that is smaller than the rest of its body. The eyes and nose are average in size and dark in color. Its ears are also average in size. The ears hang down and are wide at the base. The breed stands on legs that are well muscled. The back legs are well angled. This breed's coat is exceptional. It is very soft to the touch and long over the greater part of its body. |

| Temperament |
| The Tibetan Spaniel is an active breed that is usually a very good companion for all ages. It is friendly, but may need to get to know people outside of its family before it extends a welcome to them. This breed loves to give and receive attention, but it does not like to be treated like a baby. The breed responds well to training, but tends to have a will of its own. It is an effective watch dog. |
